LUGANSK, October 8 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Wheat bread costs 3.5 times more in Ukraine that in the LPR, said the chairwoman of the Lugansk Economic Union social organization, chairwoman of the Lugansk-Niva board Zinaida Naden.
"Wheat bread costs 13.3 rubles/kg in the LPR, while I Ukraine the price for the bread of the same quality is 19.6 hryvnia/kg (46.4 rubles according to the official exchange rate)."
A public joint-stock company Lugansk-Niva is not going to raise prices for social bread Stanichnyi and Luganskiy despite purchase prices for grains surge, Naden said earlier.
She said crop yields dropped this year, but the grain quality was high due to favorable weather conditions, and the most part of the crops was constituted by food-level grain.
