Wages in certain LPR economy sectors are critically low, Pasechnik says
LUGANSK, December 27 (Lugansk Media Centre) - Lugansk People’s Republic Head Leonid Pasechnik said in an interview to the Lugansk Media Centre that the wage level in certain branches of the Republic’s economy was critically low and that the authorities never stopped budget optimisation efforts.
“This work helped increase wages in the public sector and students’ grants in 2018,” Pasechnik said.
The increases are funded with the revenue coming from the LPR’s growing economy. In general, I believe that the LPR’s current wage level is insufficient while in certain professions it is critically low. We have to balance it in the nearest future. It would not be easy given the general situation,” the LPR Head said.
