Vodafone resumes operation in the LPR
LUGANSK, July 9 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Vodafone resumes operation in the LPR, said the LPR Ministry of Communications.
"Vodafone operation in the LPR has been restored," the press statement said.
Earlier the DPR Ministry of Communications said thet "Vodafone will resume operations shortly in both People's Republics".
The technical glitch blamed for the disconnection is believed to have occurred in Kiev-controlled Lisichansk. As the operator is a Ukrainian company, LPR experts do not poses a full picture of the incident.
On February 22, the LPR was cut off from the Vodafoneservices after an emergency disconnection of communication channel outside Veselaya Gora. It was restored within two days.
