Ukrainian servicemen disassemble Donbass civilians’ utility sheds to make dugouts - LPR militia
LUGANSK, September 3 (Lugansk Media Centre) - Ukrainian servicemen in the so-called “Joint Forces Operation” zone in Donbass make dugouts using loot materials which they get as they disassemble civilians’ utility sheds, the Lugansk People’s Republic People’s Militia press service officer Alexander Mazeikin said at a press briefing at the Lugansk Media Centre.
“Due to a lack of construction materials to develop military dugouts, 24th Brigade servicemen plunder nearby settlements disassembling civilians’ utility sheds in order to prepare for the cold spell,” Mazeikin said.
“Military police have opened criminal proceedings against 24th Brigade servicemen over coming in illegal possession of property in the Troitskoye settlement,” he added.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. Conflict settlement relies on the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, signed on February 12, 2015 in the Belarussian capital by the Contact Group members and coordinated by the Normandy Four heads of states (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine). The document provides for ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weapons from the contact line.
