Ukrainian saboteurs neutralized in Debaltsevo area might be connected to SMM car blast
Gunmen neutralized by LPR People's Militia servicemen in the vicinity of Debaltsevo might be connected to the OSCE SMM car blast, said LPR People's Militia spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko.
On 23 April an OSCE Special Monitoring Mission vehicle en route from Slavyanoserbsk to Sokolniki rode on an anti-tank mine in the vicinity of LPR’s Prishib village, the explosion killed one mission's paramedic and wounded two monitors.
"We think that the members of the squad neutralized on May 2 might have participated in preparing terror act which occurred on April 23. We are verifying the information."
"Ukrainian side requested that we hand over the bodies of the liquidated Ukrainian servicemen, and we will do it, but first we should identify them."
"Ukrainian side doesn't cooperate when it comes to returning bodies of its soldiers. Evidently, they are hiding something," Marochko said.
On May 2 Ukrainian squad of four people attempted to cross the contact line discretely through forested areas. They were discovered by People's Militia watch post. In a brief exchange of fire three saboteurs were killed, one wounded and escaped.
