Ukrainian forces jam SMM UAVs in Zolotoye, Vyskriva and Orekhovo areas
LUGANSK, April 7 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Kiev army used radio electronic warfare systems to jam unmanned aerial vehicles of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in the Zolotoye, Vyskriva and Orekhovo areas, said LPR People's Militia press officer Yakov Osadchiy.
"To jam the control signals of the OSCE SMM's UAVs, the gunmen of 80th, 92nd and 14th brigades deployed electronic warfare systems to Zolotoye, Vyskriva and Orekhovo areas."
The LPR militia repeatedly reported the use of radio electronic warfare equipment by Kiev forces to interfere with the activity of OSCE SMM monitors in the so-called “Joint Forces Operation” zone.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. Conflict settlement relies on the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, signed on February 12, 2015 in the Belarussian capital by the Contact Group members and coordinated by the Normandy Four heads of states (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine). The document provides for ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weapons from the contact line.
