LUGANSK, June 15 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Ukrainian delegation to the humanitarian subgroup has not attended today's video conference, said LPR representative in the Contact Group humanitarian subgroup Olga Kobtseva.

"Ukraine's representatives were not present at the today's meeting," she said.

"We had to discuss the passage of people through the line of contact; in particular, pensioners who receive retirement payments in Ukraine, but Ukraine ignored the issue."

"They announce that the crossing points are opening but in reality it just does not happen."

On Saturday, 107 people crossed the line from Ukraine into the LPR from 1 p.m. to 5.10 p.m. Earlier, the number was at 13 thousand per day, she said.

"In fact, every traveler was questioned by military who inquired into the purpose of travel."

Currently there is only one official checkpoint at the line of contact in LPR area of responsibility in Donbass and it is accessible via the bridge in vicinity of Stanitsa Luganskaya. The Republic closed the only crossing point in the LPR responsibility zone in Stanitsa Luganskaya on March 23, as part of the measures to fight COVID-19.

LPR authorities regularly let people travel to Ukraine through the crossing point for urgent reasons. The persons who found themselves outside the Republic and cannot cross the border of foreign states, can call the LPR Foreign Ministry +38(072)1923344, +38(072)1923355, +38(072)1923366, +38(072)1923377, +38(050)9435542 (Viber), or send an application to
