Ukraine betrays its history by adding war veterans to Mirotvorets - Pasechnik
LUGANSK, October 8 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Ukraine betrays its own history by adding WWII veterans' profiles to its extremist Mirotvorets database, said LPR acting head Leonid Pasechnik.
Mirotvorets is a website, which purports to reveal personal information of people who are considered to be "enemies of Ukraine". Anyone can post on it.
Pasechnik met veterans in Lugansk today and heard that many of them have been added to the website. Some said "they found out a lot of surprising things about themselves".
"I've never visited this site, was never interested, then I decided to check it out and read my own profile. It says I am a colonel, served in army, have medals, and that I am a traitor. I am still trying to understand why I am a traitor," Pasechnik said.
"Veterans are with me. Our history is with mw. It is our true history, we are in our land that our veterans defended. Where is the betrayal? They are the traitors, they betrayed our history, grandfathers and ancestors."
