Tigipko’s possible appointment as premier shows Zelensky policy failure - “LES”
LUGANSK, February 28 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The possible appointment of oligarch Sergey Tigipko as Ukrainian prime minister shows that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his team’s policy was a complete failure, chairwoman of the Slavyanoserbsk branch of the Lugansk Economic Union (“LES”) social movement Olga Kerlanova told the Lugansk Media Centre.
Zelensky is mulling the option to replace incumbent Prime Minister Alexey Goncharuk with oligarch Sergey Tigipko and has already had a meeting with the latter.
“The possibility that Sergey Tigipko might be appointed to the post of premier shows that the 3rd team has failed miserably,” Kerlanova said. “He thus acknowledged his own failure, as well as the failure of “maidan” on the whole.”
Zelensky’s team showed that they were unable to cope with a range of tasks to govern the country which is now plunging into deep crisis. Whoever replaces Goncharuk, it will be for the better in a crisis-hit country. “Perhaps, we’ll see the kindergarten hiring an educator at last to take pre-school rowdies under control,” she said.
Sergey Tigipko is a Ukrainian politician and businessman, member of parliament, former deputy prime minister and Ukraine’s social policy minister.
