Three Ukrainian troops killed, five injured as vehicle hits landmine
LUGANSK, June 24 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Three Ukrainian troops died and five were injured as their vehicle triggered an anti-tank mine outside Trekhizbenka, said LPR People's Militia press service officer Ivan Filiponenko.
“Another incident involving non-battle casualties and concealed by the Ukrainian command has been reported. A military vehicle of the 14th brigade was moving along an unpaved road outside Trekhizbenka when it triggered an anti-tank mine killing three and injuring six troops inside.”
The wounded were taken to a hospital in the Novoaidar district in critical condition.
Earlier two civilians were injured in Popasnaya as their tractor exploded on a mine installed by Ukrainian armed forces.
