Thousands march in Lugansk against Kiev's agression
LUGANSK, December 26 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Over 3.5 thousand people gathered in central Lugansk on Wednesday to take part in a mass march, Lugansk Media Center correspondent said.
The march started from the monument "They Have Defended Their Motherland" and finished by hoisting national banner at the square in front of the Taras Shevchenko monument.
The participants carried other banners bearing slogans "When we are united we are undefeatable", "All for one and one for all", "Lugansk is a Russian city", "Proud to live in Lugansk".
The march was organized to show that people still live and work in Lugansk despite the war, the event's coordinator of the Young Guard youth organization Vladislav Valiyev said.
"No one left and no one ran away from here. Students study, state institutions are functioning, miners work as well as they did in 2014 under shelling. Enterprises show high production figures, higher than at the times of Ukraine."
The event was also organized in support of Ukrainian regions where martial law was announced.
