Thousand residents of Kiev-controlled areas join LPR events under humanitarian program
LUGANSK, July 17 (Lugansk Media Center) – Nearly a thousand of Kiev-controlled territory residents joined 18 LPR cultural events organized in April by the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth.
"We held 18 events – 10 sport events and eight encounters."
"Nearly 400 people in the 2Q took part in the events organized under the humanitarian program for the reunification of Donbass people. Around 500 participated in the Immortal Regiment march."
Some participants from Kiev-controlled territory had to conceal they visited LPR for security reasons.
On February 17 LPR and DPR Heads Igor Plotnitskiy and Alexander Zakharchenko launched the program of humanitarian assistance for residents of Kiev-occupied part of Donbass. The main goal of the program is to provide financial, medical and educational aid to socially vulnerable groups.
LPR Telecom and Mass Communications Ministry launched the humanitarian program website.
