Statement of Leonid Pasechnik concerning LPR head resignation
Mr. Pasechnik's statement
Today Igor Plotnitsky has resigned due to health issues, emanating from his injuries sustained during the war and concussion consequences.
In accordance with his decision I assume the position of acting head of Lugansk People's Republic and will maintained it until the election.
I am thankful to Igor Venediktovich for his decision and confidence.
Igor Venediktovich made a great contribution to the peace settlement.
He is one of the signatories to the Minsk Agreements, as of today he is appointed the authorized representative of the Lugansk People's Republic for the implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
On my own behalf, I announce my commitment to the Minsk Agreements. The Republic shall consistently implement obligations assumed under the Minsk Agreements.
The Council of Ministers, the People's Council and other bodies continue their work as normal.
On my behalf, I assure the LPR residents that I will do the best I can for the benefit of the Luganschina people.
