Specialists to restore Vodafone service in several LPR towns by May 25 - Ministry
LUGANSK, May 14 (Lugansk Media Centre) - Communications engineers plan to restore the Ukrainian mobile operator Vodafone service in several towns of the Lugansk People’s Republic which has been unavailable due to a damaged fibre optic cable, the LPR Telecom and Mass Communications Ministry said.
“VF Ukraine operator maintenance teams have begun repairs to restore mobile communications in Bryanka, Stakhanov, Pervomaisk and Kirovsk,” the report said.
The repairs are expected to be completed on May 20 - 25.
Earlier, the LPR Telecom and Mass Communications Ministry said that the Vodafone network had been down in Bryanka, Stakhanov, Pervomaisk and Kirovsk due to damage of the fibre optic line in the Bryanka area.
