Russian humanitarian convoy delivered aid to LPR in accordance with international standards
The 57th Russian humanitarian convoy delivered aid to LPR in accordance with international standards and norms, the head of the convoy Nikolay Verbitskiy said.
"Drivers-rescuers delivered food to Donbass people, first of all it is baby formula, and medications, medical equipment," he said.
"The delivery was made in accordance with international legislation requirements. No emergencies on the way were reported."
After the trucks had been unloaded the convoy returned to Donskoy rescue center through 'Donetsk' and 'Matveev Kurgan' checkpoints.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry's 57th humanitarian convoy delivered 180 tons of aid to LPR today.
A representative of the Republic's Reserves State Agency told Lugansk Media Centre that 14 trucks of Russian EMERCOM delivered 180 tons of humanitarian aid including 67 tons of medications and over 100 tons of baby formula, also oxygen generators were delivered.
On September, 22nd 28 trucks delivered 310 tons of humanitarian aid to the Republic.
First humanitarian convoy arrived in LPR on 22 August 2014. Since that time over 64 thousand tons of aid were delivered for the people of LPR and DPR.
