Russian humanitarian aid convoy unloading in Lugansk

LUGANSK, July 30 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The 97th humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) has arrived in Lugansk; the cargo is being unloaded into city warehouses.

Eight EMERCOM trucks delivered 76 tons of medications and medical supplies to the city on Thursday, the Lugansk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry reported.

On December 19, 2019, seven EMERCOM trucks delivered to Lugansk 23.38 tons of New Year gifts and 0.78 tons of medical supplies.

The first Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrived in the LPR on August 22, 2014. Russia has delivered some 85,000 tons of relief supplies to LPR and DPR residents since.
