Russian humanitarian aid convoy unloading in Lugansk
LUGANSK, December 12 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The 95th humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) has arrived in Lugansk; cargo unloading is underway.
The Lugansk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry said that nine EMERCOM trucks delivered on Thursday 99.5 tons of relief supplies including 16,420 food kits for children under three years of age.
On December 5, eight EMERCOM trucks delivered to the LPR 103 tons of humanitarian cargo including 17,280 baby food kits.
The first Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrived in the LPR on August 22, 2014. Russia has delivered more than 80,000 tons of relief supplies to LPR and DPR residents since.
