Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrives in Lugansk
LUGANSK, November 28 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The 93rdh humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) arrived in Lugansk on Thursday; the unloading operation is due to begin shortly.
“Eleven EMERCOM trucks have delivered more than 117 tons of relief supplies to Lugansk,“ the Lugansk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry reported. The cargo contains 19,200 food kits for children under three years of age (more than 115 tons) as well as medical supplies.
On November 21, seven EMERCOM trucks delivered to the LPR 80 tons of humanitarian aid, including 13,440 baby food kits.
The first Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrived in the LPR on August 22, 2014. Russia has delivered more than 80,000 tons of relief supplies to LPR and DPR residents since.
