Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrives in Lugansk (PHOTOS)
LUGANSK, November 14 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The 91st humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) arrived in Lugansk on Thursday; the unloading operation is due to begin shortly.
“Fourteen EMERCOM trucks have delivered 142.7 tons of relief supplies to Lugansk,“ the Lugansk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry reported. “The cargo includes 17,960 food kits for infants (98.78 tons) and 7,320 food kits for toddlers (43.92 tons).”
On October 7, 12 EMERCOM trucks delivered to the LPR 134.4 tons of relief supplies including 7,680 food kits for infants (42.24 tons) and 15,360 food kits for toddlers (92.16 tons).
The first Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrived in the LPR on August 22, 2014. Russia has delivered more than 80,000 tons of relief supplies to LPR and DPR residents since.
