Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrives in Lugansk

LUGANSK, November 7 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The 90th humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry (EMERCOM) arrived in Lugansk on Thursday; the unloading operation is due to begin shortly.

“Twelve EMERCOM trucks have delivered 134.4 tons of relief supplies to Lugansk including 7,680 food kits for infants (42.24 tons) and 15,360 food kits for toddlers (92.16 tons),“ the Lugansk People’s Republic Emergencies Ministry reported.

On October 31, 12 EMERCOM trucks delivered to the LPR 129.6 tons of relief supplies. The cargo contained 23,040 food kits for infants and toddlers.

The first Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrived in the Lugansk People’s Republic on August 22, 2014. Russia has delivered more than 78,000 tons of relief supplies to LPR and DPR residents since.
