Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrives in Lugansk
The 66th Russian Emergencies Ministry (EMERCOM) humanitarian aid convoy has arrived in Lugansk; cargo unloading is underway.
Convoy team leader Alexey Strelnikov said 22 EMERCOM trucks delivered to LPR more than 500 tons of relief supplies, including baby formula and 170 tons of medications.
On 25 May, 11 EMERCOM trucks delivered to Lugansk 143.2 tons of food packages for infants and toddlers, medications and books.
The first Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrived in LPR on 22 August 2014. Russia has delivered more than 67,000 tons of relief supplies to LPR and DPR residents since.
