LUGANSK, November 26 (Lugansk Media Centre) - Russian EMERCOM has delivered almost 49,000 tons of humanitarian aid to the Lugansk People’s Republic since 2014, the LPR Emergencies Ministry press service reported.
“Over these years, 48,940 tons of relief supplies have been delivered to Lugansk People’s Republic residents, including 42,159 tons of food, 4,952 tons of baby food and 1,829 tons of medications and medical equipment, as well as fuel and lubricants, textbooks, electrical equipment, construction materials, seeds, fertilizers and veterinary drugs,” the report said.

On Thursday, the 100th milestone humanitarian aid convoy of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry delivered to Lugansk 43 tons of medications and medical supplies.
The first Russian humanitarian aid convoy arrived in the LPR on August 22, 2014. Russia has delivered more than 100,000 tons of relief supplies to LPR and DPR residents since.
