Russia lifts entry ban for LPR and DPR residents
LUGANSK, March 23 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Russian government has lifted travel ban for LPR and DPR residents, the document published at the Russian official website for legal information says.
"Due to the economic and transport blockade imposed by Ukraine on certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, guided by the principles of humanity, provisions of paragraph 1 (on the decree to introduce travel ban) are not applied to the citizens of Ukraine and stateless persons who are permanently residing in the certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions," the docuemnts reads.
Registration in the LPR or DPR territory in a Ukrainian or Republican passport is required to enter Russia.
The Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) is to organize medical control of travelers at the border crossing points.
