Processing industry is key LPR employer - minister of industry and trade

LUGANSK, August 12 (Lugansk Media Centre) – More than 36 percent of LPR residents are employed in the processing industry sector, the minister of industry and trade Yuriy Govtvin said.
"The processing industry is one of LPR major employers, 36 percent of economically active population are employees of processing industry sector."
He said that the industry is cooperating with educational institutions to form an employee pool.
"We have an acute shortage of qualified staff, engineers and technical experts, manual workers; it is important for us to train young specialists at functioning enterprises of metallurgy and mechanical engineering sectors and further on employ them."
Govtvin said that the food industry is showing a good development dynamics as a lot of specialists are willing to work there. "As a result, we began exports this year," he said.
