LUGANSK, October 13 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Kiev has faked reports on a downed LPR drone, said LPR People's Militia spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko.

On Saturday, Ukrainian media sources quoted the JFO press service reporting an Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle downed outside Lisichansk by Mi-24 helicopter.

"Ukrainian media published photos trying to convince their audience," Marochko said.

"Reports say that the drone was brought down by Mi-24 cannon and machine gun fire. Anyone with basic knowledge of arms can imagine what would have remained of the UAV if it had been hit with such ammo. But we can see an almost intact UAV. "

Marochko added that LPR People's Militia "would like to have, but has no such drones".

Employing combat aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in 30km-wide zone along the line of contact is banned under Article 7 of Minsk Memorandum, with the exception to OSCE SMM UAVs.
