Pasechnik winning election with 68.4%, preliminary results show
LUGANSK, November 12 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR acting head Leonid Pasechnik is on track to win the election, preliminary results announced by the Central Election Commission suggest.
"Leonid Pasechnik's result is 68.4%, after 96% of the ballots counted."
His runner-up is Oleg Koval (16.57 percent), followed by Natalia Sergun (7.89 percent) and Ludmila Rusnak (5.84 percent).
The social movement Mir Luganschine is poised to win control over the Parliament with 74.13% of votes; Lugansk Economic Union has secured 25.16 so far.
