Pasechnik signs parliament-approved laws extending LPR head, lawmakers term of office

LUGANSK, September 6 (Lugansk Media Centre) - Lugansk People’s Republic acting Head Leonid Pasechnik signed into law the parliament-approved bills amending the LPR Provisional Basic Law (Constitution) and certain legislative acts on Thursday.
 
The full texts of the documents are available on the Lugansk Media Centre website.
 
The laws become effective from the day of publication.
 
Earlier on Thursday, the LPR parliament voted for the legislation extending the four-year term of office of head of the republic and lawmakers to five years and amending certain election laws.
