Pasechnik: Security for LPR residents is Program-2023 key objective
LUGANSK, May 12 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The security for LPR residents is a top priority of the Republican state policy, said LPR acting head Leonid Pasechnik speaking at a meeting with legislative and executive officials on the results of the discussion of the LPR development Program-2023 named Our Choice.
"Safety of LPR residents is our top priority. Strengtening and development of armed forces and law enforcement system are among the key targets. Our army must be ready to repulse aggression in the environment of new challenges and highly volatile situation around the Republic," he said.
"Professional and coherent work of our internal affairs and state security agencies has contributed to containing and stabilizing of crime situation, preventing a wave of criminal chaos and containing Kiev's regime attempts to inundate the LPR with saboteur groups carrying out subversions."
On March 14, acting LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik said at a session of the Mir Luganschine Republican Council that LPR residents would be able to participate in working out the Republic’s five-year socio-economic development programme and offered Mir Luganschine to arrange a broad public discussion.
LPR residents can phone hotlines or visit the Mir Luganschine website to bring forward their proposals concerning the programme. They are also welcome to present them at all Mir Luganschine executive committees and grassroots across the Republic.
Mir Luganschine is the largest social movement in the LPR numbering more than 101,000 members. It was established before the election to LPR People’s Council on November 2, 2014. The Mir Luganschine candidates won 69.42 percent of votes finishing first in the election. Acting LPR head Leonid Pasechnik was unanimously elected chairman of the movement at its 3rd Republican Congress on February 17.
