Pasechnik in his inauguration speech promises to follow people's will
LUGANSK, November 21 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR newly sworn-on Head Leonid Pasechnik has promised to be guided by people's will, as he delivered a speech during inauguration.
"Over the decades of Ukrainian barbarianism people have stopped trusting authorities. I have been told by people that they need transparent and honest leadership, a leader who will promise less but do more.
"I will be guided by these principles."
The LPR held elections of the Head and Parliament on November 11. Leonid Pasechnik performed well across the Republic and won the race by a sweeping majority, gaining 68.3 percent of ballots cast. The Mir Luganschine social movement secured 37 seats in the Parliament, while its rival Lugansk Economic Union won 13 mandates.
