OSCE SMM employee illegally ferried parcels from Ukraine – LPR police
LUGANSK, December 24 (Lugansk Media Centre) – An employee of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission Lugansk Office illegally ferried parcels to the Lugansk People’s Republic from the Ukraine-held territory of the Lugansk region, the LPR Interior Ministry public relations department reported.
“A 31-year-old resident reported to Lugansk’s Leninskiy district police department that unidentified people near a city market had been transferring large carton boxes from an OSCE SMM vehicle into a black car with Ukrainian license plates,” the public relations department said.
“Police found out that Yury Shkarupin, 36, an OSCE SMM Lugansk team member, had illegally ferried Ukrainian delivery services’ parcels from the Ukraine-controlled territory (Severodonetsk) to the LPR.
“Shkarupin delivered over 500 kilograms of parcels in the period from July through September earning more than 200,000 rubles for his services,” the LPR Interior Ministry said.
