Mother and daughter killed in Zolotoye-5 by Kiev's shelling
LUGANSK, October 13 (Lugansk Media Centre) – Mother and daughter have been killed in Maryevka (Zolotoye-5) by Kiev's shelling on Saturday evening, said LPR People's Militia spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Andrey Marochko.
The incident happened on Pochtovaya 26 street.
"Two civilian women died: born in 1971, sustained mine blast wounds, shrapnel wounds; born in 2001, sustained mine blast wounds, shrapnel wounds. They were mother and daughter."
According to Marochko, the order to open fire on civilian residential area was issued by the commander of the Ukrainian 14th separate mechanized brigade Voichenko.
The shelling took place on the eve of an important Orthodox Holiday, the Intercession of the Theotokos.
