More than 20 people drowned in LPR in 2020
LUGANSK, July 8 (Lugansk Media Centre) – More than 20 people drowned in the LPR since the beginning of the year, the Ministry of Emergencies said.
"This year, 24 bodies were retrieved from water bodies," the report reads.
Three of them were discovered in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry reminds that water safety rules should always be observed when swimming, such as avoiding strong currents, or following the current to reach a bank; if paddle into a whirlpool dive holding the breath and slingshot yourself out, etc. It is forbidden to jump into rivers and lakes without checking the bottom beforehand, swim under influence, play unsafe games and engage in other dangerous activities.
