Middle East, European investors to take part in LPR’s 3rd Economic Forum
LUGANSK, August 30 (Lugansk Media Centre) - Potential investors from the Middle East and European countries will take part in the 3rd Economic Forum in the Lugansk People’s Republic capital on September 7, head of the LPR Economic Development Ministry Department for Developing and Regulating Foreign Trade and Government Goal-Oriented Programmes Stanislav Duplenko said at a press briefing at the Lugansk Media Centre.
The Forum will open at 11:00 at 9 Ploschad Geroyev Velikoi Otechestvennoi Voiny (Pillar Hall).
“As usual, the Forum will have a plenary session and two discussion floors to address cooperation ties, the development of investment activity and LPR’s investment attractiveness. Projects will be presented to potential investors,” Duplenko said.
“(Potential investors) from Saudi Arabia, Finland, Italy, Poland and Turkey have already confirmed their participation; they’ll study our proposals and take part in discussions,” he added.
Lugansk Administration Economic Department head Igor Gurskiy said that City Hall would present three investment projects at the 3rd Economic Forum.
The 2nd economic forum in Lugansk on September 1, 2017 gathered more than 400 experts and business people. In 2016, LPR held the first economic forum within the framework of National Economy Achievements Exhibition (VDNKh) at which more than ten cooperation agreements were signed.
National Economy Achievements Exhibition 2018 will open at Lugansk’s Avangard Stadium at 10:00, on September 8 to feature more than 100 leading LPR and DPR companies in various branches of the economy.
The Republic’s Council of Ministers offered a tax incentive to the exhibition participants.
The LPR Economic Development Ministry invited the Republic’s domestic producers to take part in VDNKh-2018 earlier this year.
On September 3, 2016, Lugansk hosted the first Exhibition of National Economy Achievements featuring more than 100 LPR companies.
LPR VDNKh 2017 took place at Lugansk’s Avangard Stadium on September 2. The exhibition was opened at two sites. The first presented more than 100 companies in metallurgy, wood-working, mechanical engineering, food industry, coal mining, jewellery, chemicals, and agriculture as well as trade companies. The second site located in Yarmorochnaya Square accommodated a trade fair.
