MGB: Anaschenko'a car blast was a pre-planned crime
LPR Ministry of State Security (MGB) said People’s Militia command Chief Colonel Oleg Anaschenko was killed in a planned explosion.
On February 4, a car exploded which Anaschenko was driving in Lugansk. LPR Prosecutor General's office said the explosive device went off on the driver's side of the vehicle. The criminal investigation led by MGB was launched under the article covering terrorist acts.
"According to preliminary information, it was a pre-planned explosion," said MGB head Leonid Pasechnik.
"It might have been masterminded by the enemy's sabotage and reconnaissance squad that have been very active lately," he added.
