Lugansk Philharmonic Society to perform across LPR to raise cultural awareness
Lugansk Philharmonic Society is to travel across LPR giving concerts within the newly launched program 'Artists for People'.
The society is to perform in 14 cities of the Republic to popularize culture and music among the residents.
"Republican authorities prioritize cultural awareness and strong art presence in lives of our people. Currently professional art is mostly present in Lugansk while the regions enjoy mostly amateur and aspiring artists' performances," Lugansk Philharmonic Hall director Vera Geziy said.
"On the weekends our leading vocalists and bands will perform across the Republic so that all the districts have a chance to attend professional concerts in their home towns."
The first band to open the program will be the Academic Symphonic Orchestra that is to perform "To love all ages yield surrender" concert on February 13 in Krasnodon Cultural Center at 2 p.m.
