Lugakom mobile network operator has more than 100,000 subscribers – Ministry
LPR's Lugakom mobile operator had more than 100,000 active users in November, the Republic’s Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications said.
"Monthly active subscriber base indicator has been increasing, exceeding 100,000 as of last month," said state-owned Lugansk Communications company deputy director Eduard Yegorov.
Active base includes Lugakom users who make at least one phone call a month, Yegorov said, adding that "the subscriber growth rate remains steady, with up to 10,000 users added monthly on the average."
On 18 June 2015, the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications announced launching of a new domestic mobile operator Lugakom. LPR post offices began to sell Lugakom user kits in September.
