LPR trade turnover increases 32 pct year-on-year - Customs Committee
LUGANSK, December 24 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The Lugansk People’s Republic trade turnover has increased by nearly 32 percent in 2019 compared with the previous year, State Customs Committee acting chairman Yury Afanasyevskiy said at a press briefing at the House of Government.
“The LPR’s trade turnover increased by 31.8 percent compared with last year,” Afansyevskiy said. “A dramatic increase in export/import operations occurred in 2018 as the Republic relaunched metallurgical companies. Meanwhile, the growth rates show no signs towards a decrease.”
It’s a positive trend reflecting the LPR’s stronger positions in the external market,” he said.
