LPR to significantly increase pensions, public sector/civil service wages - Pasechnik
LUGANSK, June 13 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The Lugansk People’s Republic authorities will significantly increase wages of public sector workers and civil servants, as well as pensions, LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik said.
“Beginning from July 1, 2019, public sector workers and civil servants wages will increase by 35 percent and pensions by 25 percent,” Pasechnik said.
A payrise is also planned for certain groups of law-enforcement personnel; social and insurance benefits will increase, too,” he added.
“Starting from January 2020, public sector and civil service wages will increase by another 35 percent, so the overall increase will make up 70 percent compared with the current level,” the LPR leader said. At the same time, pensions will increase by 27 percent, with the overall increase reaching 52 percent.”
