LPR to raise pensions and salaries in January and July 2021

LUGANSK, December 28 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The Lugansk People’s Republic has adopted the 2021 budget previewing an increase of retirement benefits and salaries, the LPR Ministry of Finance reported.

The LPR Head decree signed on December 21, says that he confirms the draft budget summary for 2021.

"Within the framework of the "Our Choice" Social and Economic Development Program the budget summary provides for a raise of social benefits and salaries," the Ministry said,

First, pensions and social benefits will go up by 17 pc from January 1, 2021, after that, they will be raised by 17 pc again from July 1, 2021.

Public sector salaries will go up by 30 pc and 28 pc on the same dates.

Law enforcement sector salaries will be raised by 16 pc on the same dates.

Public officials' salaries will boost by 11 pc on the same dates.
