LPR tightens anti-COVID measures

LUGANSK, April 1 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR has temporary suspended some notary services, activities of bureaus of technical inventory and civil registry offices, the Government press office said.

The World Health Organization called the COVID-19 coronavirus infection a pandemic. The first coronavirus infection cases were recorded in China in late 2019.  As of now, the number of coronavirus contacts has exceeded 750,000; of those over 36,000 died. Coronavirus cases were reported in Ukraine and Russia. One case was confirmed in the LPR.

The Emergency Sanitary-Anti-Epidemic Commission operating under the Government has voted to suspend a number of public services to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection.

Some state monitoring activities have also been temporary suspended with the exception of unannounced checks aimed to prevent disasters, emergencies or to issue licenses and accreditations.

Currently, as part of measures to prevent the COVID-19 threat, restaurants, cafes and entertainment venues remain closed across the LPR. Educational institutions are operating in homeschooling mode. Only food trade is allowed.

Travel privileges for public transport are canceled.

Train routes to the DPR are canceled.

The Stanitsa Luganskaya crossing point is closed.

Three international crossing points on the border with Russia are operating. Local pedestrian crossing points are closed.
