LPR State Bank conducts foreign transactions worth RUB 49 billion
LUGANSK, December 20 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The LPR State Bank has conducted foreign-trade transactions worth 49 billion rubles (835.5 mln USD) in 2017, said the bank director Dmitry Chaikin.
"Foreign-trade transactions is an integral part of the bank's work. We all understand that taxes come from business; business is looking for market niches, channels to settle accounts with foreign partners. LPR State Bank has correspondent accounts with the International Bank for Settlements located in South Ossetia and with Central Republican Bank of the DPR," he said.
Chaikin added that the total amount of transactions of foreign trade entities corr. accounts is worth 49 billion rubles (835.5 mln USD) in 2017.
"Last year, the figure was at 34 billion rubles. We all see the payments and our business grows. This is not only about the business development; it is about business coming out of shadows. The bank is directly participating in projects aimed at bringing business out of shadows, and the bank is neither the last nor the least participant."
"Hopefully, we shall surpass 50 billion till the end of the year."
The first international transaction between LPR bank and the International Bank for Settlements was conducted on 21 July 2015. Since August 2015, LPR State bank customers can settle accounts with Central Republican Bank of the DPR clients.
