LPR sets humanitarian programme guidelines for 2018 - Drobot
LUGANSK, January 11 (Lugansk Media Centre) - Acting LPR head Leonid Pasechnik has signed the road map of the Donbass people reunification humanitarian programme for 2018 which includes new areas of assistance to Donbass residents, Council of Ministers acting chairman Alexander Drobov said.
“The LPR head signed the key guidelines for the humanitarian programme and its 2018 road map,” Drobot said.
“The programme envisions more assistance in such areas as cancer treatment and obstetrics and will also cover disseminated sclerosis, cystic fibrosis, haemophilia and other kinds of free-of-charge aid to Donbass residents in LPR and Kiev-controlled parts of the region,” he said.
“We’ll provide assistance at a higher level on the tracks we successfully pursued in 2017,” the official said.
As before, Humanitarian Programme 2018 will be focused on financial and medical assistance and education services for residents of Kiev-held territory of Donbass and joint cultural and sport events.
On February 17 DPR and LPR Heads Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitskiy launched the program of humanitarian assistance for residents of Kiev-held part of Donbass. The main goal of the programme is to provide financial and medical aid and education services to socially vulnerable groups in Kiev-controlled areas.
LPR Telecom and Mass Communications Ministry launched the humanitarian programme website.
