LPR sentences foreign spy to 12 years in prison
LUGANSK, November 13 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The LPR Supreme Court has sentences a Lugansk resident to 12 years in prison for high treason, the LPR Ministry of State Security said.
"LPR Supreme Court has sentenced a Lugansk resident Korotkikh M.Yu. to 12 years in prison for a crime under Art.335 (High Treason)".
The investigation revealed that the 39-year old resident of Lugansk was recruited by foreign intelligence, given the "Prizrak" call sign and sent to LPR to collect information on LPR law enforcement members and their families.
He engaged an LPR People's Militia serviceman in collaboration with the Ukrainian Security Service as the service member was of special interest for foreign intelligence.
