LPR restores power bridge to importnat plants in Alchevsk and Stakhanov
LUGANSK, June 3 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The LPR has reconstructed high-voltage power lines which will allow boosting production at the Alchevsk Steel Plant and re-launching the Stakhanov Ferrous Alloy Plant, said LPR acting head Leonid Pasechnik.
"As part of the LPR Program-2023 our engineers have restored a power bridge consisting of a 500 kV and 200 kV lines. The repaired lines will boost power supply to the Alchevsk Steel Plant and to launch two furnaces at full capacity and rolled steel production. The 200 kV line feeds launching the Stakhanov Ferrous Alloy Plant to be re-launched soon."
Both lines incurred damage in 2014 during active military action in the region.
Earlier LPR Council of Ministers chairman Sergey Kozlov said the Republic would restore approximately 100 km of power lines damaged by shelling and build a new 30-km-long power line.
