LPR residents required to wear masks and keep social distance
LUGANSK, October 30 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR residents will need to wear face masks and stay physically distant from each other, the Emergency Sanitary and Anti-Epidemic Commission said.
The Commission's decision said that key mitigation behaviors are social distancing, wearing face masks while in public transport, public places, parking lots, elevators, bus stops, etc.
The World Health Organisation called the COVID-19 coronavirus infection a pandemic. The first coronavirus infection cases were recorded in China in late 2019. As of now, the number of coronavirus contacts across the world has exceeded 44 million; of those, more than one million people have died. Earlier, the LPR confirmed 1,178 COVID-19 cases.
To prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection, the LPR authorities put the Republic on high alert and introduced lockdown measures.
