LPR releases 16 detainees to Ukraine in exchange for 75 people
MAYORSK CHECKPOINT, December 27 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The LPR has exchanged 16 Ukrainians captured during the Donbass crisis for 75 people detained in Ukraine, said LPR representative in the Contact Group humanitarian subgroup Olga Kobtseva.
The verification procedure was complete in Zaitsevo logistics center on Ukrainian territory.
"We have been given 75 people," she confirmed.
"Why is the figure different from the previously voiced 99 people? Because some people have served their terms already and some refused to return to the LPR," Kobtseva said.
Currently the LPR delegation is going back to the buses to leave the Ukrainian territory.
