LUGANSK, August 7 (Lugansk Media Centre) – The LPR is ready to withdraw its forces from the contact line at any time if Ukraine does the same simultaneously, the LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik said during his live Q&A.
More than 2.3 thousand Ukrainians have sent their questions to the LPR Head who is holding a live Q&A broadcasted by the GTRK LNR state TV company on Wednesday.
"We have never fired first, we do not fire first. All the initiatives on ceasefire were ours, coming from the LPR and the whole Donbass. Ukrainian side regularly violates the agreements," he said.
"We do not open fire and we are ready to withdraw any weapons within the framework of mirror agreements, of course, any time. It is essential for us to stop the war, prevent casualties."
Pasechnik held his first "Direct Line" in March 2019; more than 1,400 thousand people from 23 Ukrainian cities and towns sent their questions then.
