LPR ready for dialogue with Kiev if Donbass status law is extended - Pasechnik
LUGANSK, November 27 (Lugansk Media Centre) - The Lugansk People’s Republic is ready for dialogue with Kiev if the latter extends the law on special status of Donbass, LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik said during a live Q&A session.
“I must say that today, the Minsk Agreements are the main platform for talks between Donbass and Ukraine,” Pasechnik said. “It is the only platform that allows for a peaceful settlement of the Donbass issue.”
If Kiev extends the law, we are ready for further dialogue and implementation of the Minsk Agreements,” he said “We want a peaceful way to end the Donbass war.”
The law must be extended and cemented in the Ukrainian Constitution, so that nationalists cannot claim that the law is anti-constitutional.
"If Kiev does not extend the law, it will not impact the Republic much because the LPR has chosen the path towards integration with the Russian Federation,” the LPR leader said.
