LUGANSK, November 11 (Lugansk Media Centre) – LPR People's Militia has launched its radio station today, the Defense's press service said.
"LPR People's Militia Kombat FM radio station has begun broadcasting today within the framework of the Defense and Ministry of Communication joint project," the report reads.
New station broadcasts on 91.9 FM frequency.
"Kombat" is a contraction for "battalion commander" in Russian (komandir bataliyona).
Currently the radio is available in Lugansk and pars of the Slavyanoserbsk region.
It will soon be available all over the LPR and temporarily occupied Lugansk region.
The radio focuses on patriotic upbringing of youth, informing the public of the Defense's activity and reporting developments along the contact line.
"Listeners will be able to request songs they like, say hellos or express their opinions," the People's Militia said.
