LPR has paid its last respects to LPR People’s Militia Private Vitaliy Sorokin, killed in Ukraine's attack on Zhelobok. The memorial service took place in Kirovsk.
The soldier was killed on January 29 in a shelling of Zhelobok.
His family, friends and brothers in arms attended the memorial service, a three-volley salute was performed at the Kirovs Central cemetery where Sorokin has been buried.
"The war unleashed by Ukrainian authority goes on for 2,118 days," said LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik.
"Zelensky promised to end the war but in reality his "peace plans" turned out to be even more monstrous and insidious than those of his predecessor Petr Poroshenko."
"The death of Vitaliy is a great loss," his colleague First Lieutenant Alexander Bebeshko, battalion deputy commander for military personnel administration said.
"He had a strong personality, had several awards and taught a lot of conscripts."
